NGS Support Worker

• Must participate with daily living activities, such as general care, housekeeping, and meal preparation
• Support participants for accessing community resources, such as employment and social opportunities
• Help participants achieve their goals by providing the individual support and resources
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of participant progress, incidents, and observations
• Work collaboratively with other support workers, families and care teams to deliver effective care

Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Disability or equivalent qualification
• Experience in providing support to people with disability
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of disability rights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications (desirable)
• A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
